How to reset or change a voicemail password / PIN

If you are needing to reset the password for a user's voicemail, or if they are needing to update their voicemail password, please have them attempt the following (depending on the carrier):

AT&T:

• To reset the voicemail password:

  • Please reach out to Gigs support

• To change the voicemail password:

  • Open the dialer and press and hold 1

  • Enter your existing password

  • Select the following options in the menu:

    • 4

    • then 2

    • then 1

    • then 1

  • Enter your new password

T-Mobile:

• To reset the voicemail password:

  • Open the dialer and type in #793# and hit the call button

    • This should reset the voicemail password to the last 4 digits of the phone number

• To change the voicemail password:

  • Call the voicemail

    • Select the following options:

      • 5

      • then 1

    • Enter in the new password

O2 (Germany):

• To reset the voicemail password:

  • Text RESET to 802901

  • You'll be sent a temporary password

    • You must change this password before you'll be able to listen to your messages

• To change the voicemail password:

  • Call 901

  • Press *

  • Choose option 4

  • Follow the instructions for setting up a new password/PIN
