SIM Replacements: how-to

Question: Is it possible to replace a SIM, or convert a sim (pSIM > eSIM or eSIM > pSIM)?

Answer: Yes, swapping from eSIM or pSIM to both eSIM and pSIM via your Gigs Connect portal is possible! Requirements: replacement pSIM for pSIM exchanges.

Here’s how:

  1. Open Connect

  2. Navigate to the subscription

  3. Select the SIM they are intending to replace

  4. Press the “Replace your SIM” button in the top right corner.

5. You will be asked to select what SIM type you would like (if there is a choice) and to confirm your wish to perform the replacement. You will then be prompted to install your new SIM.

6. If you have selected an eSIM replacement, we will automatically send you a QR code to install you replacement eSIM.

7. If you have not received the above-mentioned email, please reach out to your provider to request a new QR code.

If you are not seeing the option of replacing your SIM per the instructions above, this means that you will need to reach out to your provider for assistance. This is not Gigs, but who you have your subscription through.
