Welcome to our comprehensive guide on the Payments Tab! This document provides essential information on managing and viewing payments associated with subscriptions in your project. Let’s explore the features and functionalities available in this section.

Overview of the Payments Tab

In the Payments tab, you can view all individual payments linked to subscriptions within your project. The main page offers a detailed overview that includes the following information:

  • Amount: The total amount of the payment.

  • Status: The current status of the payment.

  • Description: A brief description of the payment.

  • User: The user associated with the payment.

  • Payment Method: The method used for the payment.

  • Created On: The date and time when the payment was created.

Filtering Payments

You can filter the payments displayed on this page by their status. To do this, click on the subtitles directly under the Payments page title. The available filters include:

  • Succeeded: Payments that have been successfully processed.

  • Refunded: Payments that have been refunded.

  • Failed: Unsuccessful payments.

  • Disputed: Payments that the end-user has challenged through their bank.

Additional Features

In the top right corner of the Payments tab, you will find several useful buttons:

Export

Clicking on the Export button allows you to download all the information from the Payments tab in CSV format. This feature is beneficial for internal reporting and following up on failed or disputed payments.

Search Bar

The search bar enables you to quickly find a specific payment within your project. This is particularly useful as your user base grows. You can search using either the payment ID or the invoice number.

Individual Payments Pages

When you click on an individual payment, you will be directed to a detailed page that includes:

  • Links to the associated Subscription.

  • A breakdown of the payment and its status.

  • Any failed attempts related to this payment, which you can explore further in our detailed article.

Payment ID and Details

The payment ID is conveniently located directly below the payment title. It is useful for recording or searching for specific payments on the Dashboard or for internal reporting purposes.

On the left-hand side, you can also find additional details, such as:

  • When the charge was created.

  • A link to the associated User.

  • The payment method used.

  • A downloadable PDF receipt.

Refunding Payments

You will see an option to Refund this payment in the top right corner. When you click this option, you can enter the amount you wish to refund.

Note: Refund values cannot be less than $0.50.
