Guide: Events & Webhooks

Edited

Welcome to our guide on events in the Gigs Dashboard! Here, we’ll explore how events work, how you can track them, and how to set up webhooks for real-time notifications. Let’s dive in!

Events in the Gigs Dashboard

Events are essential for tracking various actions or updates that occur programmatically or manually within the Gigs system. The Events tab in the Gigs dashboard allows you to easily access all events.

Filtering Events

To make it easier to find specific events, you can filter them by resource type. This includes:

  • Subscription

  • User

  • Device

Additionally, you can filter by event type, such as:

  • Subscription created

  • Payment succeeded

  • SIM activated

Recent Activity

Most pages in the Gigs Dashboard feature a "Recent Activity" section that displays the latest events related to that specific page. This allows you to stay updated on the most recent actions and changes.

Webhooks

If you want to be notified of an event as soon as it happens, you can configure a webhook endpoint in the developer's section of the Gigs dashboard.

The events sent through webhooks are the same ones you can see in the Gigs dashboard and documented in the Gigs Events section of our API documentation.

Accessing Developer Documentation

Please log into the Gigs Dashboard to access the developer documentation. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact the Gigs team!

We hope this guide helps you easily navigate events in the Gigs Dashboard. Happy tracking!
