Question: Is it possible to replace a SIM, or convert a sim (pSIM > eSIM or eSIM > pSIM)?

Answer: Yes, swapping from eSIM or pSIM to both eSIM and pSIM via your Gigs Connect portal is possible! Requirements: replacement pSIM for pSIM exchanges.

Here’s how:

  1. Open Connect

  2. Navigate to the subscription

  3. Select the SIM they are intending to replace

  4. Press the “Replace your SIM” button in the top right corner.

5. The user will be asked to select what SIM type they would like (if there is a choice) and to confirm their wish to perform the replacement. The user will then be prompted to install their new SIM.

6. If the user selected an eSIM replacement, we will automatically send the user a QR code to install their replacement eSIM.

If you are not seeing the option of replacing your SIM per the instructions above, this means that you will need to reach out to your provider for assistance. This is not Gigs, but who you have your subscription through.
