How do I transfer my number to another provider?
To transfer (or port) your number to another carrier, you will need to do the following:
Reach out to your CURRENT provider to get your Account Number & PIN for your transfer. These are sometimes called port credentials.
Please note: if you are transferring from AT&T to AT&T, you will also need to ask for a Transfer of Billing Responsibility (TOBR).
Open a request to transfer your existing line with your NEW provider. They will likely ask you for some personal information. This will include the port credentials you obtained from your CURRENT provider, who your current provider is, and possibly the following:
The name on the account
The ZIP on the account
Your address
Your birthdate
Potentially other information, depending on whom you're porting to.
Transfers can take a few hours to a couple of days to go through. Your NEW provider should share any updates or issues with you.
Once the transfer is complete, make sure to cancel your old subscription. You can do this by logging in and following these instructions.

Note: Your line must remain active on your CURRENT provider while the transfer is processing. If your line is cancelled before the transfer is complete, it will not work.
