What is a QR code and where do I find it?

Last updated: April 3, 2026

Your QR code is what you scan to download your eSIM. It is available in the app you used to activate your plan, or sent to you by email — or both.

Where do I find it?

In the app: open the app → My Plan, SIM, or Subscription Details → look for Download eSIM, Install eSIM, or Show QR Code

By email: check the inbox you used to sign up — also check spam and promotions folders

Can I use the QR code more than once?

No. A QR code can only be used once. Once the eSIM profile has been downloaded the code is no longer valid. Do not share your QR code — anyone who scans it first will claim your eSIM profile.

My QR code has expired

QR codes expire after approximately 3 days if unused. Check the app for an option to generate a new one, or raise a request through the app.

What is the manual activation code?

The same email that contains your QR code also contains a manual activation code — a long string starting with LPA:1$. You only need one or the other. See QR code vs manual activation.
