How do I transfer my eSIM to a new device?
Last updated: April 3, 2026
An eSIM profile cannot be moved directly from one device to another. A new profile needs to be issued and installed on the new device.
Your current eSIM stops working immediately once a new profile is issued. Do not request a transfer until you are ready to install on the new device.
Before you start
- New device must be eSIM compatible — see ****Is my device eSIM compatible?
- New device must be carrier-unlocked
- Subscription must be active
- Wi-Fi must be available on the new device
How to transfer
- Check the app for Replace eSIM, Move to new device, or Get new QR code
- Once a new profile is issued, the old eSIM is deactivated immediately
- Install the new profile on your new device using the installation guide for your device type
Can I have the same plan active on two devices?
No. You cannot have the same subscription active on two devices simultaneously.
