How do I set up call forwarding?
Last updated: April 3, 2026
Call forwarding redirects incoming calls to another number — always, or only under certain conditions.
iPhone
- Settings → Phone → Call Forwarding → turn on → enter the number to forward to
- Note: iPhone settings only expose forward-all. For conditional forwarding use MMI codes below.
Android
- Phone app → three-dot menu or Settings → Calls → Call forwarding
- Select the condition (Always / When busy / When unanswered / When unreachable) and enter the number
MMI codes — all devices
Dial these from your Phone app dial pad. Replace [number] with the full number including country code.
Rule | Enable | Cancel |
Forward all calls | **21*[number]# | ##21# |
Forward when unanswered | **61*[number]# | ##61# |
Forward when busy | **67*[number]# | ##67# |
Forward when unreachable | **62*[number]# | ##62# |
Cancel all forwarding | — | ##004# |
