How to install your eSIM — iPhone

Before you begin: device is carrier-unlocked (Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock must say No SIM restrictions), QR code or activation code is ready, connected to Wi-Fi, and if two SIMs are already active temporarily disable one.

Option 1 — QR code (recommended when you have a second device)

• Settings → Mobile Service → Add eSIM → Use QR Code

• Point your iPhone camera at the QR code displayed on the other device

• Tap Continue and follow the on-screen steps

Option 2 — QR code on the same device

• Settings → Mobile Service → Add eSIM → Use QR Code → Enter Details Manually

• iOS will offer to use the code it detected in your email or clipboard

• Follow the on-screen steps

Option 3 — Manual activation code

• Settings → Mobile Service → Add eSIM → Use QR Code → Enter Details Manually

• Paste your full activation code including LPA:1$

• Tap Next and follow the on-screen steps

After installation

Set the new line as your primary data line under Settings → Mobile Service. Signal should appear within a few minutes.
